Crafting with Passages During Stay-At-Home | Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana

What better way to spend time than crafting? After all, most of the people served by Passages are accustomed to doing art every day when our Creative Learning Center is open!

Passages’ Direct Support Professional Nancy Pagley has been with Passages for more than 15 years. One of the things she enjoys doing is crafting with the ladies who live at Browning 1 (or B1 for short), one of the waiver homes operated by Passages.

“I used to teach preschool through third grade, so I have made many crafts throughout the years. Plus, I am a card-maker and scrapbooker as well, which helps!” Nancy said.

Nancy said she and the other staff members at B1 make a point to craft weekly. Therefore, we at Passages wanted to share some of their ideas and help you create your own!

First are toilet paper roll robots. Here is an image made by the ladies in B1.

Another idea is these paper plate butterflies. Our ladies tied them up on an overhead light to make them look like a mobile.

Finally, we recently made some creative breakfasts for the ladies! Here are a few more ideas, and this is a photo of one we made for Easter.
