About Extreme Dreamers

This summer youth program is designed for young people in Whitley County with intellectual or developmental disabilities to practice and enhance academic, social, and vocational skills in a structured and fun environment.

Extreme Dreamers may appeal to youths seeking a fun learning experience with less employment focus than Dream Teens.

  • Activities include field trips to local and area attractions, as well as games, arts and crafts, and many other summer fun events.
  • Participants will also benefit from enhanced academic experiences including studies in science, history, the arts, and career exploration.
  • This program is designed for individuals ages 12 through 22 with an intellectual or developmental disability who are enrolled in a Whitley County school program.
