Fort Wayne, Ind. — The St. Joseph Community Health Foundation has awarded a $10,000 grant to Easterseals Northeast Indiana Fort Wayne to help improve health care for people with disabilities.
Easterseals Northeast Indiana will use part of the grant to purchase two automated external defibrillators (AEDs) for its Coldwater Road building, enhancing emergency preparedness and safety for both staff and individuals served.
The remainder of the funding will help support the Easterseals On-Site Clinic, located at the organization’s main Fort Wayne facility. Staffed by Rounding Providers, the clinic offers individuals with disabilities access to high-quality medical and psychiatric care in a comfortable and inclusive setting.
While the Easterseals On-Site Clinic is based in Fort Wayne, its services—both in-person and via telehealth—are available to individuals served across the region, including those connected with Easterseals Northeast Indiana Columbia City and Easterseals Northeast Indiana Angola.
This grant reinforces the organization’s commitment to providing accessible, community-based health care as part of its broader mission to enhance the lives of people with disabilities.
Thanks to the support from the St. Joseph Community Health Foundation, Easterseals Northeast Indiana Fort Wayne continues to expand the reach and impact of its essential health services.
