Focusing on Sibling Support

We are proud to partner with Hope’s Harbor and Erin’s House for Grieving Children to offer Sibshops, giving brothers and sisters of children with disabilities and special health concerns peer support and information in a lively, recreational setting.

About Sibshops

Sibshops strengthens families by shining the spotlight on siblings, encouraging them to interact with and support their peers while learning ways to deal with the challenges they face regularly. They’ll meet other children, talk about common joys and concerns, discover how others approach similar situations, and learn more about their sibling’s special needs.

  • Sibshops usually meets at Hope’s Harbor on the Lutheran Hospital campus  on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • The registration fee is $5 per Sibshops session. T-shirts in Youth Medium, Youth Large, Adult Small, Adult Medium and Adult Large are available for an additional $5. Please bring payment (cash or check) with you at each session.
  • For more information on Sibshops, visit the Sibling Support Project website.
