Gaming connects people, especially those with disabilities. As part of the nationwide ES Gaming initiative, our esports program is paving the way in creating accessible, welcoming spaces where gamers can come together.

ES Gaming exists to cultivate a more welcoming space in the ever-evolving video gaming industry. It’s about setting a new benchmark for fairness, belonging, and access for all disabled gamers, while uplifting disabled voices and championing accessible innovations.

  • As part of the nationwide ES Gaming initiative, Easterseals Northeast Indiana is working with Trine University to launch an integrated e-sports team with Easterseals Northeast Indiana participants and Trine students.
  • The e-sports team will provide opportunities for individuals to connect with other players and improve skills in leadership, communication, critical thinking, team building, cognitive acuity, and technical abilities.
  • In addition to the competitive stream team, gaming clubs at Easterseals Northeast Indiana and Cardinal Services will offer opportunities for participants to connect, learn and play in a more casual environment.
  • The ES Gaming community fosters a fun, inviting environment where people with and without disabilities can come together to connect through gaming and conversation. All gamers and advocates aged 16 and over are welcome!
