AWS Foundation Vantage Grant Will Help Easterseals Arc Explore Community Needs | Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana

Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana was selected as one of six organizations to receive a $75,000 Vantage Grant from AWS Foundation to identify and explore barriers and potential solutions to serving the disability community in Northeast Indiana.

Easterseals Arc will use the funding to research two topics:

  • Inequities in services in Steuben, Dekalb and Whitley counties compared to Allen County to help the organization understand what services are wanted and needed in those areas
  • How people with disabilities are experiencing social determinants of health such as employment, education, food security, housing and social supports

The $75,000 grant is the first phase of the Vantage Grant program and will support six months of research and analysis of the issues to identify potential solutions. In July 2021, Easterseals Arc and the other five organizations will present final proposals to AWS Foundation for the opportunity to receive additional funding to implement plans.
