Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana has received a $10,000 grant from the Flagstar Foundation. The funding will support initiatives for people with disabilities to improve workforce readiness and skills for independence.
Easterseals Arc services include employment assessments, job training and ongoing support; community-based volunteer opportunities; community-based education opportunities; and on-site classes in foundational skills such as reading, computer literacy and financial literacy.
Easterseals Arc also provides training and facilitates hands-on work experience through its Employment Readiness Academy, as well as Pre-Employment Transition Services at area schools.
