Health Foundation Gives Grant for Assistive Technology | Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana

The Fort Wayne Health and Education Foundation has awarded a grant of $2,000 to Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana for assistive technology for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Assistive technology helps people with disabilities gain independence, increase self-sufficiency and build social networks. The use of communication devices, mobility devices, sensory devices, and related hardware and software helps individuals achieve their specific goals, such as gaining employment or improving health and wellness.
