Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana has received a $10,000 grant from the Magee-O’Connor Foundation has to support employment services for individuals with disabilities.
Easterseals Arc’s employment services team offers a range of programs and supports that help individuals prepare for the workforce, find jobs in the community, and succeed in the workplace. These offerings include the Employment Readiness Academy; meaningful community-based volunteer and internship opportunities; Pre-Employment Transition Services in area high schools; education in entrepreneurial skills, reading skills, computer literacy, and financial literacy; and extended support services.
Easterseals Arc will assess program participants to identify employment barriers and provide skill development, job placement services, and support as needed.
