The region’s largest provider of disability programs and services announced today that all Easterseals locations in Fort Wayne, Angola and Columbia City will begin operating under one name: Easterseals Northeast Indiana.

The Don Wood Foundation has awarded a $75,000 grant to Easterseals Northern Indiana to implement pre-manufacturing academies in Allen, DeKalb, Kosciusko, Steuben and Whitley counties. The pre-manufacturing academies will enhance employability and independence for people with disabilities while also strengthening the local workforce.

With funding from W.K. Kellogg Foundation, the national Easterseals office awarded a $25,000 grant to Easterseals Northern Indiana to support the use of Boostlingo interpretation and translation services.
