Raker Foundation Awards Grant for 2020 | Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana

Easterseals Arc has been awarded a $7,500 grant from the M.E. Raker Foundation to enhance community integration for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The funding will help Easterseals Arc continue to offer a wide range of opportunities for employment and enrichment. The activities and programs include:

  • Employment services ranging from skills assessments to hands-on training in learning labs
  • The Employment Readiness Academy, which offers 18-week internships at community sites
  • Pre-Employment Transition Services for students with disabilities at area schools
  • Community-based volunteer activities
  • Community-based educational opportunities
  • Community-based recreational opportunities
  • Community outings for individuals attending Easterseals Arc’s day programs
  • On-site and community-based art, music and social enrichment activities
  • Summer camps for children and teens
