The M.E. Raker Foundation recently awarded a $5,000 grant to Easterseals Arc of Northeast Indiana to support education and pre-employment services for teens and young adults.
Easterseals Arc provides education and support to teens and young adults through its Transitions day program and Pre-Employment Transition Services in area schools.
The grant funding will help Easterseals Arc collaborate with community partners to enhance both on-site and community-based services, including new learning labs designed to help people with disabilities prepare for employment in health care, hospitality and manufacturing.
