Employment Readiness Academy

Launched in November 2015 at Lutheran Hospital, the Employment Readiness Academy (ERA) has expanded to multiple locations across northeast Indiana. This innovative workforce training program empowers individuals with disabilities to develop essential job skills through immersive, hands-on experiences.

About the Program

The Employment Readiness Academy is designed for small groups of up to four participants, ensuring a personalized and focused training environment. The program provides:

• Workplace readiness training

• Professional and personal development

• Hands-on skill-building

• On-the-job training opportunities

Participants are fully immersed in real workplace settings, allowing them to gain transferable skills that are valuable across various industries. This direct exposure prepares them to confidently enter the workforce.
