Our employment services team will work with your company to understand your staffing needs and create a customized program for training and job placement. Possibilities include:
- Individual placements: We can pre-screen individuals to identify strong candidates for your open positions. Upon placement, we also can provide assistance with training and support as needed.
- Pre-employment training or volunteer opportunities for high school students: We collaborate with several area schools to help students with disabilities explore employment options and incorporate work experiences at area businesses into the curriculum.
- Employment Readiness Academies: Our Employment Readiness Academy is a mentorship program in which participants rotate through different work areas to gain hands-on experience while also learning general workplace skills in a classroom setting.
Our employment services staff provides ongoing assistance before, during and after a position is secured with the option of supported employment services when one-on-one assistance is needed — all at no cost to your company. Our employment services are funded by Vocational Rehabilitation (VR), a state-run program that helps people with disabilities prepare for and gain employment.
