About Behavior Solutions
Our experienced behavior consultants, each holding a master’s degree in applied behavior analysis or a related field, develop individualized behavior intervention plans that use a holistic approach. By understanding how behavior affects all aspects of functioning, we create positive interventions and teach alternative skills.
We address behaviors that impede community integration and personal independence goals. Common targets include aggression, poor social skills, being off-task, self-injury, and challenges with emotional regulation. Our consultants conduct a thorough assessment to determine each behavior’s cause, then design evidence-based strategies and teach replacement behaviors that promote long-term success.
The process begins with an intake interview to match the individual with the most appropriate behavior consultant. Together, the consultant, individual, and family create a roadmap for reaching specific, measurable goals. Because our team values and respects the whole person, we offer training and education for the entire support network—including caregivers and educators—to ensure everyone collaborates toward the individual’s success.
For children still in school, our behavior consultants share their findings and the Behavior Support Plans with the child’s school team to foster a collaborative community. This coordinated approach helps students apply new skills in the classroom, at home, and beyond.
By choosing our behavior solutions services, families gain peace of mind knowing that each plan is personalized, research-driven, and focused on positive outcomes.
